Trip to the pool!

Mom took me to the pool today!  I have a special outfit AND a special diaper to play in the water.  Auntie Sarah came with us too, she is a great swimmer and knows a lot about baby swim lessons.  The water was wicked warm, and not too deep.  Even though I was making some serious faces, Mom and Sarah kept saying "wow, she is so relaxed, she seems to love it!"  Yeah, they were right...it was awesome.  One drawback was that I couldn't drink the water like I do in the bath.  I didn't even get too cold, and I can not wait to go there again!!

     Mom wanted to go out for  a walk, Dad said it was quite bright outside, Mom reminded herself that Aunt Heidi gave me a pair of sunglasses that fit my little head! What do you think? Some fashion statement huh? I liked them, made everything look pink inside my eye balls. 

Leaves?

     When I came into this world, as far as I could see was leaves, green, dark green, light green, and all in between. Now you are telling me that they turn color and fall off their limbs? What gives? Maybe that explains the loss of hair on my head.

      Mom and Dad took me down to the waterfront to see the foliage near Burlington, we walked the bike path, and sure enough, I got a little hungry. After my lunch (or early supper) Mom had me play in the pile of leaves we found on the ground! By the way? They don't taste very good. Seems like I want to put EVERYTHING in my mouth, Dad thinks I am teething, Mom thinks Dad is crazy, we'll just have to wait and see! 

Fun Feet!

So, the other morning I was hanging with mom and I found some super fun toys...right at the bottom of my LEGS!  I haven't put them in my mouth yet, but I do love watching them wiggle.  Mom and dad say that I will be able to walk on them soon, but in the meantime, I will just let mom walk me around in my comfy stroller on these beautiful fall days!

3 months old!

Wow...time flies when your having fun growing!  I am 3 months old today (and it is mom and dad's 7th anniversary too!).  I decided to take some time today to snooze (that's when I grow, you know).  Mom and I played with some of my new rattles, and she gave me this soft chewy toy to put in my mouth instead of my hands.  I keep hearing mom and dad talk about something called "teeth"?  I guess they may grow in my mouth soon?  Whatever, I just like gnawing on my fists!  Tonight dad and I are going to watch the game.  Our team is playing Grama Carol's team...go sox!

Hello!

After almost 3 months, I've come to realize that these two dangling things on each side of my body actually do stuff! Stuff that I can pick up items with, grab, and most important, PUT IN MY MOUTH! Dad says I have replaced my pacifier with my fists, I just like the taste of them.......yum! We were playing with my ball last night, I was trying to shove it in my mouth. Mostly to see how good it would taste, but it wouldn't fit! I'm going to keep trying.......
