Beach week!

Holy moly! Did we have fun this week! Mom and Dad took me down to Nana and Auntie Peg's beach house! It was in Rhode Island, close to Charlestown. We had a brand new type of beach house where the kitchen/dining room was on the top floor and all the other rooms were on lower floors! I got my own room on account most of our extended family left the day we showed up! Auntie Heidi and her boys, Max and Owen were there ALL week with us! Nana and Grandpa too! Mom, Dad, and I went to the beach daily, we played in the sand, swam in the waves, went for walks down the coast, it was fantastic!

One day at the beach, dad put sand up all around me, I looked like I was buried in the sand all the way up to my neck! I just sat there, waiting…..for someone to get me out! I finally broke out myself and just picked up a shovel playing with the sand castles people built around me.
Grandpa got this great shot of Dad and I in the water getting hit with waves. I LOVED the splash it made all over my face! Thank you Grandpa for the outstanding photography!

One afternoon it wasn't very nice out, Dad kept saying something about a weather front coming through, Mom still went to the beach in the morning, after she got back, we all packed in the subaru and headed towards Connecticut. We thought we would visit Mystic seaport, but it was a bit pricey for us to walk through and me not really know what it was all about yet. Instead, we headed back towards Stonington and watched the sailboats play in the water. We did find a cool playground! There were all kinds of fun tricycles I played with!

The very last night we were there, Mom, Dad, Heidi, Max, Owen, and I went to this restaurant called Georges. The boys and I played a lot at the dinner table. I got to try my first Stuffy! Lobster and fish fry too! I can get used to this seafood! We also got to watch the big fishing boats come in after a long day out on the sea. What a way to end a great vacation!

Balloon festival!

Dad forgot to give me the photos for this past weekend! Mom, Dad, and I got up early Saturday morning, drove to Stowe, and watched the BIG balloons blow themselves up and take off in the sky! I was quite impressed!

Belated birthday presents!

Hello! Mom and Dad wanted me to show off my three toys I got a little later after my birthday. The first one was here, but Dad took his sweet old time blowing it up! Here I am with Mommy in it!

The next one Aunt Janet brought over to our house. It was hers when she was 5 years old! She has kept it in the family for a LONG time. Its my turn after her daughter Jenn had it, then Jenn's daughter Athena used it. I put my baby doll in it for now, she is taking a rest from all the play time we have together.
Last but not least, is my shiny new wagon! Dad and Mom like to put me in it and go for a ride around the house! I like to sit and watch all the fun things go by as mommy pulls me along. It has extra big wheels so we can go all over the place! Oh yah! And big wooden sides so I don't fall out!

Hello birthday!

Wow, a whole year has gone by? Seems like Mommy and Daddy were talking about when I was going to come out of mommy's belly! I heard them……I swear.

So Mom and Dad planned this BIG party for me, lots of people showed up, too many to name all, but it was so fantastic to see all my family together at our house! Dad made me a carrot cake! They put it down in front of me with some sort of flame on top, they kept screaming "blow it out! blow it out!" the wind did it instead. I really liked the frosting on the cake, kept dipping my fingers in it. After that, I sat down with Dad, people came over and gave me boxes with fancy paper all over it. Dad let me rip them all apart! THAT WAS A BLAST! But the best part, was inside! All kinds of new toys, books, and clothes! I kinda like this birthday thing!
