Mowing the lawn!

Hello! Dad got me to mow some lawn this weekend, it was fun! No seriously, all I did was sit on the cubby, put Daddy's headphones on, and look cute while Mommy took some pictures. Anyone notice what's new in the background? Yep! Mom and Dad finally got on the solar band wagon. They came and installed it last week, the electricians are coming Monday to hook it up! Now I can tell Daddy to stop complaining about all the lights on at night!

One other thing…..lately I've been working on my hand to mouth coordination. Mommy has made me some really nice finger food, black beans, macaroni, spirals, cut up fruit! Now I can use my fancy new dish! I love all the different kinds of stuff Mom and Dad feed me at supper time.

Who knew Dad had his own day too? Didn't we just celebrate Mom's day just last month? Geesh! I'm wiped out from all this celebrating…..

Dad got up early this morning with me, we played, said good bye to Nana and Uncle Matt, and went for a walk down the new Lamoille rail trail this afternoon! Oh, wait…..back up……YES! Nana and Uncle Matt were here this weekend! They both came up to watch me saturday afternoon while Mommy and Dad went to Sarah's wedding! Uncle Matt took a couple of picture of the 3 of us while they were all dressed up. I wasn't invited…..hmph!

OUCH!

It's official, I got my first battle wound while trying to "pet" Kidie.  What a grouch! She usually LOVES it when I "pet" her and toss handfuls of fur all around.  She comes back for more, and even lays on the ground in front of me sometimes!  Well, I guess she had enough tonight, and I encountered her big double paw scraping across my chubby cheek.  It all happened so fast!  I screamed a little, but then it was business as usual.  Good thing my toys can't scratch….geeeesh!

11 months old!

It is true!  I am 11 months, and I am BIG! I barely fit on my changing table, and give mom and dad a run for their money when I decide to flail around and kick and laugh while Im up here!

Over the past month, I have been learning a lot of new moves too.  I crawl super fast now, and I'm working on standing and even walking!  (emphasis on "working on it"). 

This is me just being really cute.

I also finished my second round of swimming lessons recently.  Mom and dad keep talking about sailing and paddling, so they got me a new fancy jacket!  I tried wearing it in the lake the other day for practice, but it felt kind of bulky so I screamed until they took it off.  In my kitchen, I LOVE wearing it though!

This should be a fun and active summer!! I can't wait.

Crystal lake!

Hello! Mom, dad, and I packed up the subaru and headed up to the N.E.K. today! We visited Crystal lake in Barton. It was supposed to be hot and sunny, which it was, just not quite warm enough to go swimming. As the pictures show, I LOVED the beach!

Almost Summer!

Today we went to Lake Elmore, because it was SO beautiful out!  Our friends Will, Madison and Eric joined us.  The sunscreen part wasn't too much fun, but the rest was awesome!  Eric has lots of fun toys that I "share".  We even went into the water, which was really cold!

At snack time, mom gave me some watermelon.  Look how much I like watermelon.

I can't wait to go back to this place, even if sunscreen is involved!

So, today dad and I realized that we were wearing the same outfits almost….sporting green and red.  Any excuse to take pictures, huh mom and dad.  sheesh! (my faces are pretty awesome though!)
