Life is "snow" fun!!

This stuff is cold, but it sure is fun!  I LOVE my snowsuit, it keeps me really warm.  So many generous people have passed along great things to help outfit me!  

Mom and Dad took me on a hike at Hubbard Park in Montpelier one day.  There was a HUGE sledding hill and lots of people there.  M&D said I have to be bigger before I go sledding for real.

Dad loves to carry me on his back.  We walk a lot in the woods behind our house.  I always make scary noises to scare away the bears.

After the rain came, we had some pretty sunny days, so I went out and played in the huge snow banks left by the plow.  These things are enormous!  

Then I went in my snow-nut…M&D were whizzing me around and dropping me off the snow banks!  Even though it was windy and cold, I had so much fun.  I think I love the snow!

So, every time mom looks at this picture, she belly laughs like crazy….I had to send it out to the group. What's your vote? I was just trying to model my new pink boots!

Getting' ready!

Mom and Dad says my cousins from Rhode Island are coming up this week to go sledding with me! Grandpa and Nana too! Will I see Nana in one of these?

Books and hats and friends, oh my!!

It has been a fun, snowy weekend.  We had a snow day Friday and got 18 inches at our house!  I went out in my sled, but we had to watch out for the plow!  It was really cold on Friday.  Saturday was much warmer, and mom and dad took me out for a snowshoe in my backpack.  The snow was SO deep!  Mom styled me in her hat when we came inside.

In the afternoon I played a lot, and looked at my books.  I LOVE books, especially Meeow from Uncle Shane.

Later, my friend Eric came over for dinner!  He is eating a lot more then me, like full jars of food, these little puff things, even some of his mom's pasta! Holy moly! I'm still on my simple cereal and formula diet….sometimes mom tricks me with some veggies (yuk!).

We played for a while on my kitchen floor, he immediately stole my favorite bowl, but no big deal…I had most of the spoons.  He moves around soooo much!  Rolls, spins, scooches!  I'm still kind of a stationary 'one-trick-pony'.  It was fun to see a little person who makes as much noise as I do!

Well,  I had another appointment with my heart doctor.  Yep, I guess I have a
'difference' with my pump.  It started with a murmur at birth, and now I get regular check-ups.  Its called 'pulmonary stenosis'….a thickening of my valve.  BUT, as I have grown bigger and stronger, my doctor says its just a minor difference now.  Mom and dad took some pics at my last appointment. Aren't those EKG leads ADORABLE!? (wah??) Could be a Halloween costume idea someday!

It was really hard to sit still with these stickers on when I was little, but now I can sit up
and laugh at daddy and the nurse!  They have some fun toys there!

This is my doc, he is SO tall, and feels my belly with some huge hands.
He wears a fun necklace with a round cold thing at the end.

Snooze time!  Everyone LOVES it when I nap during the ultrasound.
The lady always gets tons of goop on my belly though!

Hi! Just wanted to share some happy moment in my pac-n-play. No particular reason, just happy, sitting  up on my own, laughing at Mommy or Daddy! Have a good night!

7 months old!!

Wow, the months are flying by so fast!  I am doing so much now…lots of sitting up tall, making new noises, coordinating my hands, and doing basic math facts (kidding, "I don't do math").  These onsies really need to stretch over my growing body, but, I know... the size of my belly is old news!

I really really love sitting up though….great view of the world.  At school, I can now look over all of the new babies, I'm no longer the one lying down with others' hands in my face!

Today mom and dad took me cross country SKIING for the first time!  Holy crap it was cold, but going down hills was really fun!  It seems like really slippery walking, kind of weird, but the snow was really great.  First I rode with dad, then mom took a turn.

I guess that backpack thing isn't the most comfortable for them, but it sure is for me!  I had icicles coming from my nose by the time we got back to the truck.  I can not wait until Im big enough for my own skis!

Yep, learned this new face this evening. Poop eating grin!

Dad and I stayed home today, the barf bug bit me again at school Monday. Rules are rules, school says 24 hours of happiness before I go back. No puke the whole day! Going to bed, see you tomorrow!

Yucky outside

Looking outside today……not very nice. We did get some new snow saturday night, but sunday is all about some big football game Daddy keeps talking about. Mommy and I aren't feeling well still. Daddy  says I 'howl' when I cry during the day. The three of us are just hanging out come Sunday afternoon here. I want to go outside, see me banging on the window?
