Cabin fever

Yep, Mommy and I had a bad case of it this afternoon. I stayed home today, the puke bug lightly bit me   real early this morning, around 3am, yuck. Daddy played with me in the morning, then Mommy came home early afternoon. We took a walk down to the mail box, it was a warm day here! Almost up to 10 degrees today! I also have Grandma's Red sox hat on, I think it fits well!

I am getting bigger!

To all out there that have been reading my posts, I have to tell you……I am growing like a weed? That's what Mom and Dad say. Since I kicked the barf bug, eating has never been more exciting! I am up to 8oz per bottle right before bed. Mom and dad let me take a lunch to school, there my teachers feed me in the morning and afternoon. I prefer yogurt and cereal, but lately Mommy has been trying some vegetables. See….. Dad has been trying for months to get me to eat this stuff, I prefer to spit it back out. But last week all just seemed right to keep it in my mouth! Even better, I was given a "cup" with water in it, WoW! I like it!

The Pump House

This weekend mom and I were invited to the Pump House Indoor Waterpark with Auntie Mandy & Sarah, Alex and Paris.  I had so much fun in the kids' pool!  There were little slides, fun fountains and a ton of room to sit and splash.  I was in the water for such a long time, and didn't even get cold!  We went into the big pool too, and even floated down a lazy river in my life jacket.

By the end of the day, I was tuckered out.  I definitely would go back there again!  I LOVE the water!

Even though it has been really cold up here, mom and dad take me outside a lot, and I love it!  Sometimes I take a ride on my sled, and I love going up and down the hills in our yard!

This weekend we went for a hike. After bundling up in my warmest suit, dad strapped me in the backpack and off we went!  Usually we hike back in the woods.

I make a funny growl noise as we walk, dad says I sound like a bear.  This time, I was reeeeally quiet by the end of our hike…that's because I was in dreamland!

I was pooped!  I napped in my comfy snowsuit for almost an hour!

They said I lost weight?

After what seems like eternity, two weeks have gone by and I finally kicked the barf bug! I was at the doctors the other day and she said I lost a whole pound? What? You be the judge…..

Getting bigger!

Feeling better today. After another bout of sickness, I think I am finally feeling like myself again. Thanks to Auntie Mandy and Sarah, I have this new rubber duck bath tub! I like playing in it. Mom likes it better than the red one we use often. I really like to roll around from one side to the other in it.

Mom and Dad's friends came over last night. The Miguez family. I met Deb, Matias, and their son Andres! They were a lot of fun, I was very shy when it was time to visit, I wouldn't even let them hold me! They brought me this cool new toy, its called a Johnny Jumper! Here I am trying it out for the first time.

Forgot to add, its COLD outside! Brrrr…….good thing I have this hat! It was negative 23 degrees here on Saturday. It was a balmy 2 degrees above zero today!

1/2 a year old?

Hello! I turned 6 months old today! I share this day with Dad's Mom, Grandma, she too, has a birthday today! Happy birthday Grandma!

Life here has gotten better, this past weekend, I was very sick. Mom and Dad took me to the doctors twice! When I was there, they weighed me, guess how much? 19.6 pounds! Still no upper teeth, the way I have been teething, you think they would pop out any time now, but not yet.

My christmas week

Happy New year! I thought I would share some photos Dad and or Mom took of me while I enjoyed my first Christmas! Here is a great photo of what Dad calls "all his girls"

To start, I woke mommy and daddy up quite early to see the tree filled with presents Christmas eve morning!
Grandma sent us all a package with something for each of us!

I really liked all the great new clothes Grandma sent me, some were for me to wear this summer. When I look outside, that seems like a LONG time from now.
 
 As expected, the greatest gift was the box all the presents came in. Remember that next year people.....

This last present I think was from the big guy with the white suit. Santa something? My face lit up when mommy let me open this fun toy

     Next up was a long four hour drive to Nana and Grandpas house for the week in Rhode Island! I slept almost the whole way! I made 3 out of 4 hours sleeping in my car seat. When we got to Nana's house. Uncle Matt, Aunt Heidi and my 2 cousins Max and Owen were there waiting for us! We got to open presents there too!

 

For some reason....I REALLY enjoyed Uncle Matt's present, they tasted delicious!

 

After noon came, we all piled in Mamas subaru and headed down to Tiverton, where Grandpa's sister Aunt Regina and Uncle Mike live! This was the first big christmas party I have ever been to?! Aunti Erica and Grace where there, Aunti Lauren and Nicole where there too! They had a christmas tree almost as big as Grandpa's was! We had lunch and opened presents, LOTS of fun

Nana was trying to get me to eat something during the party, but I wouldn't have any of that, way too many things to look at!

 





 The next couple of days, we hung around Nana's house, Mom went and visited her girlfriends from highschool. Dad made cookies for the big christmas party we were going to have at Nana's house. Here I am helping in the kitchen

Saturday afternoon was the big event! Mommy got herself and me all dressed up for the party. Don't we look stunning?

 





All these people started showing up, sometime around 2 pm at Nana's house. All of mommy's aunts, uncles, and a whole bunch of cousins showed up! Everyone was talking, drinking, eating, and having a great time! I got a little sleepy, so I took a niper-nap on daddy's lap.

Oh! I forgot to mention, I got to play with my big cousin Sammy! He liked to hold hands and goof off a bit. He is 2 months older than me, and my big big big older cousin Maggie is 7 months older and I think I out weighed both of them by a few pounds!

Thats about it, phew....what a week. Thank goodness all is nice and quiet back home in Vermont. I think I am going to think about next year and all the events that will take place again, makes me look like this......
