This is what Dad and I do most nights after he tries to feed me that gruel he calls cereal.  Some babies start saying "mamma" "dada dada" or even "babababa" but my new word is 'ptthhhhh'! Watch out everyone, I may spit on you this coming week!

Dad insists that I eat this stuff, what do you think? Do you think I can get anymore on my face…..I mean….in my mouth? Some days I like it, most days, especially tonight I prefer not to eat it.

Christmas is almost here!

I'm SO excited.  Mom and dad keep talking about Christmas!  We are singing fun songs about Santa, winter wonderlands, jingle bells, I love em'.  When Nana, Grampa and Uncle Matt came to visit, we bought a tree.  It is tiny, but now it is decorated with lights and ornaments!  It is beautiful, and a great place to nap next to.

This weekend, we went to meet Santa Clause!    He is really tall and lives right behind my house in a log cabin, go figure!  My friends were there too (Eric and Emma were born in July like me).  Santa was really nice. .He told me he would get me an X-Box, but mom said "no way, maybe never!"  We got lots of snow that day too, so I wore my new green elf suit.

The snow came!

Uh….wow, not too shabby, Dad said we got about 6 inches of fluff today. I guess he calls it fluff, do to how much fun it is to play in?

 Mom and Dad took me out to play in this fantastic white stuff! You know you can eat it too? Mommy put me in Grandpa's sleigh, Dad pulled me down to the mail box, it was a little cold, but it felt good to get outside.

 Dad has had the wood stove roaring since Friday afternoon. After we came inside, I got a little sleepy,due to all that play! It may look like I am awake, but I sometimes sleep with my eyes half open.

Waiting for the snow!

Mom and Dad say its going to snow? What's this snow stuff? You mean when it rains…..it turns to snow? Is that why my face looks like this? Its awful cold outside, our thermometer said negative 10 degrees on Friday! Brrrr! All bundled up, just WAITING for the white stuff!

5 months (and 1 week!)

Dad took this photo of me on December 7th, my 5 month mark! I was so giggly, it was hard for the camera to keep me in focus! Do you see my two teeth? They are almost the same size, the right one came  in a month later than the left tooth and they are the same height by now, WoW! I am about 18 pounds and growing fast fast FAST! I am warming up to Dads porridge he insists I eat nightly. It must be doing something for me, with the weight I put on.

Wait….WAIT!!!

Guess what? Something came up today! Oh yah…..see me sitting up all by myself? I just learned that today too! Wait….there's more…..

YES! After 3 weeks of drooling, crying, out of control screaming, but no fever my second tooth has arrived! Below Dad got a great photo of it, I don't look very happy, mostly because the flash was bothering my eyes. Sometimes Dad or Mom uses the flash on their cameras and it makes me fussy. If anyone out there reads this, maybe they can remember if they want to take photos of me, PLEASE turn off your flash! It hurts my eyes……thanks!

Happy belated Thanksgiving!

Wow, my first real holiday! I got to meet all of Dad's extended family in Glens Falls NY! Grandma got us a room where we stayed right next to where great grandpa lives!

The next day dad got the big bird, I think they call it turkey, in the oven, we then went over and met Great grandpa and Great grandma

My uncle Shane was there too! I haven't met him yet, you know? He looks JUST like my Dad!?! He flew all the way from Portland Oregon just to visit all of us for the day!

We spent most of the day visiting with aunts and uncles, we watched some football, ate a LARGE amount of food, and took many naps in between. At some point, someone took a picture of all of us! I think we are missing Mommy……

Oh wait! I do remember having fun with Uncle Marty. He was really cool! He played this game called "BEEP!" I laughed and laughed and laughed! 

One last parting shot. Dad forgot to take this special bib for me at Thanksgiving, so when we came home from NY, he put it on, mommy held me for the pose. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
