Tis the season! Mommy and Daddy brought home a big green thing two weeks ago. Daddy went up in the attic, came down with box after box of fun stuff! Here, you can see me every so gently, placing decorations on our christmas tree!

Kitty door
Some have asked in the past if I could fit my head through the door the cats go in and out of. Here is your answer.......notice my helmet slash winter hat, I tend to walk around the house with it often.
Dad dressed me today, please excuse his style. I thought I looked fabulous!
We finally got to see the big yellow thing in the sky today! Its been 10 solid days of pure cloudiness here in Lamoille county. Dad took me out to get some vitamin D, we also dabbled playing in the snow.

Learning to vacuum
So I see Dad using this machine quite often. Mostly to pick up all my goodies from breakfast, lunch, or dinner that end up on the floor, but also to pick up all of Claire and Kidies hair. Lately I have shown a little interest in helping, so I attempted to do it like Dad, but Mom needed to help me, the handle is just a TAD to heavy for my dainty hands!

Washing hands
Mom and Dad bought me something new this week. They call it a stool…I call it a washing step. See, now that I am MUCH older, I tend to get dirty, especially my hands. Mommy likes me to get on the washing step, stick my hands under the water, get some soap on 'em, scrub scrub scrub! Then, we dry our hands, and voila! Clean hands!
PS- sometimes I just sit on the washing step

Helping my dad
Dad does a LOT of work around here, and I have been there to help him out on a couple of projects lately! Before the snow came, he planted garlic, which will wait under the ground all winter long and sprout in the spring. He dug the holes and I tossed in the garlic. It was a cold and dirty job, but someone had to do it!!
Then I helped dad measure for a new rug. We used this yellow tape thingy that grew longer when you pulled it and then zoomed back in the orange container when you let it go! Weird and cool. My job was to hold the tape…pretty easy and SUPER FUN (for some reason!)
Me and mommy….we just play in the snow in funny hats.

The curls are getting longer!
There's a girl at my school who has really long hair, so my teachers always pull it up in these sprout thingys called pony tails. Well, now every time she gets one, I ask for one too! The other morning I asked mom for one before breakfast. What do you think? It's super stylish, but it hurts a little when it comes out (Great Grama Lil used to say…"you have to suffer to be beautiful!")
Also, my legs are long enough for all of the cool jeans I own! Most of them don't really snap around my round belly, but they are great for playing outside!

Halloween!
Wow, people go nuts over this holiday I guess…all the dressing up and parades and pumpkins?! Here's a peek at the fun we had last week!
First, mom had all of these harvest-ish, halloween outfits for me to wear each day leading up to this big day. Here is my photo shoot!

Then, on Thursday night we carved our pumpkins. I had already dove into pumpkin guts at school (quite the gooey mess), so I knew the drill. Dad cut open the tops and we all helped to clean them out. (P.S.check out my big girl "pony tail"!)
When they were ready, mom put candles in them and lit em up! Spoooookey!
On Friday, we had a "parade" at school. When I got home, we ate dinner, and then mom and dad put me into this odd outfit. I thought it was a PJ at first, but then there was this poofy hood that was kind of heavy and covered my eyes! I must be a pretty funny kid, because they dressed me as….. a jester.
Then we went out to meet my friend Eric and his mom and dad. His parents did it to him too!! He was dressed as a bat. We took a walk in the wagon and saw some trick-or-treaters. I guess my costume looked even funnier when I walked around.
Then we took a ride to a farm where this lady carved like 126 pumpkins! It was called a pumpkin glow, and it…was….awesome. It was too dark to take any pictures, but let's just say, I liked it so much I forgot all about my silly costume! We ran into our friend Barb there too! It turned out to be a great night!

A gift from Uncle Shane
Hello! This gift was given to me last Thanksgiving by Uncle Shane. I was a little too young to play with it then, but now…..whoah…..this thing can keep me busy for minutes! No, seriously….my attention span is quite short, so a few minutes is a LONG time for my little head. I mostly play with it in the morning, but mommy took this photo in the evening on my new toy box!
I also figured out that there is more to these cabinets in the kitchen I see Mommy and Daddy grabbing things out of. I can open them all by myself now! Wow….its like a smorgasbord of toys!

Tonight Dad and I watched some football, I was into it for about a minute, just enough time for Mom to take a photo of us on the floor watching the Steelers on the grid iron.

Visit to Portland!
Hello! Mom and Dad took me to Portland Maine this weekend! Dad had some lame brain idea of running a marathon on Sunday, but before that happened, we all went to LL Bean! Wow! What a cool place! There was a HUGE boot at the front of the store!
After we looked around at all the fun stuff to buy, I got to see the fishies in the small pond!
Later that morning, I felt like walking all by myself. I'm not quite there yet, maybe 3-8 steps without help from the parents, but I do like walking around things I can hold on to.
After leaving LL Bean, we tooled around Freeport and I got to fool around in the B.O.B.
Later in the day, we went down to the waterfront. We saw little sailboats out playing in the water and wind, Mom spotted a HUGE bald eagle that we all got to watch up in the air, people were working out on the beach (even in the rain!), oh yah, and I got to work on my walking again…..
Sunday was the big race, Mommy took me all over town to watch Daddy run. Then we all went down to the Old Port and had lunch! BACK in the car, one more time, just to get back home this evening. Dad got to play with me in the back seat!

Harvest festival?
Hello! Lots to share this week!
First off, Grandma and David came to visit on Sunday night, David left the next day, and Grandma stayed the week! We had lots of fun while they were here.
Next up, Mom, Dad, and I went to a Harvest Festival today! It was very windy, but cool and sunny down in Shelburne. I got to see live music and danced with both Mommy and Dad!
After the music, we visited the farm animals. We saw cows, sheep, baby goats, pigs, horses, chickens and turkeys!
Last, Dad and I played on the old farm tractor. Mom took a photo of us……see?
Oh yah! Forgot to add….Mommy bought me a new hat, what do you think?
