glamour shot

Just thought you all would like a photo of who? ME! Aren't I beautiful?

Wait! WAIT!

Come back! I swear, I will be better about writing on this blog! I have been very busy this past month, I have LOTS to share with you. Yes, I know its almost been one whole month! But I swear I will be better about all my little adventures.

The curls are getting longer!

There's a girl at my school who has really long hair, so my teachers always pull it up in these sprout thingys called pony tails.  Well, now every time she gets one, I ask for one too!  The other morning I asked mom for one before breakfast.  What do you think?  It's super stylish, but it hurts a little when it comes out (Great Grama Lil used to say…"you have to suffer to be beautiful!")

Also, my legs are long enough for all of the cool jeans I own!  Most of them don't really snap around my round belly, but they are great for playing outside!

Halloween!

Wow, people go nuts over this holiday I guess…all the dressing up and parades and pumpkins?!  Here's a peek at the fun we had last week!
First, mom had all of these harvest-ish, halloween outfits for me to wear each day leading up to this big day.  Here is my photo shoot!

Then, on Thursday night we carved our pumpkins.  I had already dove into pumpkin guts at school (quite the gooey mess), so I knew the drill.  Dad cut open the tops and we all helped to clean them out. (P.S.check out my big girl "pony tail"!)

When they were ready, mom put candles in them and lit em up!  Spoooookey!

On Friday, we had a "parade" at school.  When I got home, we ate dinner, and then mom and dad put me into this odd outfit.  I thought it was a PJ at first, but then there was this poofy hood that was kind of heavy and covered my eyes!  I must be a pretty funny kid, because they dressed me as….. a jester.

Then we went out to meet my friend Eric and his mom and dad.  His parents did it to him too!!  He was dressed as a bat. We took a walk in the wagon and saw some trick-or-treaters.  I guess my costume looked even funnier when I walked around.

Then we took a ride to a farm where this lady carved like 126 pumpkins!  It was called a pumpkin glow, and it…was….awesome.  It was too dark to take any pictures, but let's just say, I liked it so much I forgot all about my silly costume!  We ran into our friend Barb there too! It turned out to be a great night!
