SKIING!

Hello everyone!

Its been some time, a couple of seasons, and LOTS of growing up. Mom and Dad said I should talk more on this blog about all my adventures once again. So I thought I would start with this new sport Dad and Mom taught me over the weekend, they call is skiing. Much preparation is involved, usually many layers of clothing, but "global warming" has hit northern Vermont this year. Its almost Christmas, we haven't even gotten a winter storm yet! Whatudoing mother nature?!!!

Ok on to the pics. First up, is Dad and I at the Spruce Peak base lodge. This is where I put my boots (yes, I can say boots now, not boops) on, and my helmet!
Next up, is Mommy and me in the cool learning area that our friend Amy told us where we can learn how to walk with my new skis!

That didn't last long, I wanted to go up the magic carpet! Its even enclosed, I was able to stand all by myself without help from Dad.
We finally got to the top! It was a little tricky to balance on my skis, but that's why I have Dad to hold me up.
We had so much fun, we did it 4 (maybe more) times and we all had a blast! I cannot wait to do it again!

So....Daddy took me up to another ski resort on Sunday, called Smugglers Notch! I first had to check it out, I wasn't too keen on the idea at first, I was a bit tired from the day before, but I soon perked up. Here is me at the Smuggs learning hill and going up their magic carpet.

Dad and I went up and down at Smuggs about 3 times on Sunday. We were WIPED! We went back to the car and had lunch sitting in Mommy's front seat eating PB & J.
Phew, what a weekend. I cannot wait to do that again. I want to thank the Miguez family for letting us have their old equipment. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have all my new cool ski stuff, thanks guys! Dad and I came back home, Mom and I earlier made some home made bird feeders, so we went outside and put them up on the trees around the house. See how they look?

Happy President's Day!

Quite cold up here in Northern VT lately, so cold Dad and I stayed home while Mommy went to school on Presidents Day. My school wasn't open either, which was a good thing, it was -25 degrees F this morning when we all got up! Eak! Dad and I played in the hamper in the morning hours, it was novel for about 10 minutes......

Potty time!

Yes! It has been some time, but I have grown so much since then! Saturday, I turned 19 months old AND.....today......I tinkled in the potty for the first time, wha hoo! Mommy sits me down on the potty certain nights before bath, for some reason, it just happened without me even trying! All of us were quite surprised, but heh, its a start!

Its cold out!

Brrrrrr! Yikes, after some crazy talk about weather down south, we are stuck inside wearing our winter hats! It was really really cold today, so cold, that when we came home tonight, I just felt like walking around with Mommy's hat on.
Earlier this weekend, Mom and I played in the living room, we found out that if you stick me inside a clothes basket, I tend to hang out in there for a length of time? Not sure why, maybe it makes me feel cozy? I don't know, but here is Mommy and I having a good time in one....

Learning to cook

So, Dad says I have to learn how to cook one of these days......I guess sooner than later is now! Look at me on the counter! We made cookies the other night, tonight I was helping Dad make dinner for Mom.

Two night ago, Dad and I were making stuffed peppers, yep....for Mom again......I got to mix the meat with the rice! I managed to get it all over the place, but it tasted great!

Random photo post

Hello all! Since mommy got a new cell phone, she has been taking many various photos of me on my adventures. Below are just a few of my good times here at the house, or maybe outside, who knows.....life has been BUSY! First off, Dad put this sweatshirt on me the other day, I found out about pockets!

Mommy and I played with our hair one afternoon, while it was too cold outside. We each put rubber bands in our hair! Wow.....who'd a thunk I'd have this much hair already!

Speaking of outside, we went for a walk through the woods (finally) just yesterday, we heard birds, packed our way through both trails that the loggers made for us, and got to see Uncle Bill's handy work with the chain saw! Thank you Uncle Bill! If you didn't know, there were two large trees down in our way, he took care of them. By the time we all got back to the house, I was plum tuckered out. I did not take a nap while in my crib that afternoon, so the backpack had to suffice.

Hello everyone! I want to wish my Grandma a happy birthday today. She is back in sunny warm Florida where we are dealing with cold cold COLD weather here in Vermont. So cold Mommy put me in a fleece sleep sack tonight! Brrrr!

Isn't this against the law? Awww....who cares.....I'm only 18 months!
