Its been some time, a couple of seasons, and LOTS of growing up. Mom and Dad said I should talk more on this blog about all my adventures once again. So I thought I would start with this new sport Dad and Mom taught me over the weekend, they call is skiing. Much preparation is involved, usually many layers of clothing, but "global warming" has hit northern Vermont this year. Its almost Christmas, we haven't even gotten a winter storm yet! Whatudoing mother nature?!!!
Ok on to the pics. First up, is Dad and I at the Spruce Peak base lodge. This is where I put my boots (yes, I can say boots now, not boops) on, and my helmet!
Next up, is Mommy and me in the cool learning area that our friend Amy told us where we can learn how to walk with my new skis!
We finally got to the top! It was a little tricky to balance on my skis, but that's why I have Dad to hold me up.
We had so much fun, we did it 4 (maybe more) times and we all had a blast! I cannot wait to do it again!
So....Daddy took me up to another ski resort on Sunday, called Smugglers Notch! I first had to check it out, I wasn't too keen on the idea at first, I was a bit tired from the day before, but I soon perked up. Here is me at the Smuggs learning hill and going up their magic carpet.
Dad and I went up and down at Smuggs about 3 times on Sunday. We were WIPED! We went back to the car and had lunch sitting in Mommy's front seat eating PB & J.
Phew, what a weekend. I cannot wait to do that again. I want to thank the Miguez family for letting us have their old equipment. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have all my new cool ski stuff, thanks guys! Dad and I came back home, Mom and I earlier made some home made bird feeders, so we went outside and put them up on the trees around the house. See how they look?
