Hmm......lots to say, little time before Mom or Dad sticks another bottle in my mouth......
That picture I sent yesterday was from my new toy Dad put together for me. Mommy calls it the "shaker seat" Dad likes it 'cause I make funny faces when I am in it! Here is a picture of me and big sister Claire. She thought there was room in the seat for both of us, Dad thought different.
If you can tell, I kinda gained some weight! Some lady came over the other day with a scale. She got me stripped down to my skivvies and put me on it. She said I weighed 8 pounds 10 ounces! Wow! Considering I was just 7 pounds 8 oz just last week. Mom and Dad must be feeding me well! I see it most in my cheeks, I guess my belly too. You all should come and check it out yourselves! Nana and Grandpa are coming soon from what I hear.....I think they are planning their second visit this coming Tuesday. Maybe they can see the difference in my weight.
That's about it for now. Dad and I are watching baseball again tonight. I actually fell asleep in the middle of it. Boy.....Dad sure likes this team called the Red Sox. I guess I should learn more about the game, maybe then, I can stay up late with him and watch the whole game. I will write more later, I gotta get some late night snack in me! Love-Marit
Oh my gosh Marit, I love those seats too! Your mommy and I sit in them sometimes when we go to the nail lady in Stowe for special occasions...don't worry, we'll show you what that's all about real soon! Say hi to Claire for me. She's such a lovely big sister. And where's Kitty? I wonder if she's come around to hang out much? Just be careful, she might shank you if you stare at her too long.
ReplyDeleteThe Red Sox are wicked awesome, that's for sure. Your great grandma Lillian used to LOVE watching them...I'd watch them with her just like you're watching them with your dad. Makes for such great memories!
Keep on gaining that weight girlfriend! It's the one time in your life you'll be both blissfully unaware that it's happening, and that it'll be sanctioned by a doctor. Your Uncle Matt's been trying to work off just a little extra weight...I suspect my mommy (your Nana!) gave me one too many bottles way back when I was your age. Been climbin' uphill ever since, youknowwhatI'msayin'?
But that's not for you to worry about now, so you eat on big gurl, you eat and burp and poo, wash rinse and repeat!
Love,
Uncle Matt
ps - I was supposed to meet you this past weekend, but I got SOOOO sick I even had to miss work! Not to worry, though, I'll be seeing you real soon down here at the reunion ;-) Thankfully, e-kisses are germ free, so here's a bunch!
